Our approach for buying cards!

Selling cards is difficult.  Finding the perfect trade for a card is hard.  With the frustration of dealing with busy vendor tables and lowball brick and mortars, we offer a service for you to re-home your cards via the PokeChalet. 

Step 1:  Drop off your cards.  We take Reverse Holo, Holo, Promo and higher rarity cards. (We do not take in non-holo bulk older that 2005.). We are not currently accepting graded cards unless special consideration is made. 

Step 2:  We inventory and condition.  We build a spreadsheet that contains either a count of the RH or Holo Bulk, or the tcgplayer market lookups.   The condition we buy for is what we sell for - so we attempt to be precise with our conditioning. 

Step 3:  We calculate our buy price (We currently pay 10cents per RH / Holo bulk card, and 75% of tcgplayer market for higher rarity cards.).  Our traditional buy rates are 60% cash and 75% store credit, but we have been granting the 75% due to the booming Pokemon TCG market. 
(As of March 3rd, 2026 we are pausing RH/Holo Bulk Cards as we process backlog of inventory.  We will re-start after we process our backlog.)

Step 4:  You decide if the offer works for you. Review the spreadsheet for accuracy and understanding. 

Step 5:  Get your payout in e-transfer or store credit.  There are benefits to accepting store credit.  (We offer new products to store credit holders first.)
