Pokemon for Parents Christmas 2025
Hey Parents!
PokeChalet was created as a partnership between Father and (8 Year Old) Son in 2021 to try to solve a problem that existed at the time.. We wanted to collect Pokemon cards but couldn't find any in stores. 2021 had similar problems to now - the shelves of Walmart and Toys-R-Us were empty... and Card stores had to charge high prices for product because anything at Pokemon's suggested price was bought up by resellers.
Since this problem has resurfaced with resellers in 2025, we have decided to activate operation "Pokemon for Parents" - which will enable a small number of parents to suffer less headache when putting Pokemon gifts under the tree in 2025!
What is it?
Our approach is to develop a list of parent customers (and child count [Please no child info!]) and send out an email when the Pokechalet.com receives new product from distribution. Parents can respond within 3 calendar days (72 hours) with an "I will buy" statement. Pokechalet.com will send an invoice for the items and either ship or hold for curbside pickup. Purchase opportunities will be 'first come, first serve' and priority also given to parents who haven't bought from the "Pokemon for Parents" program yet.
Parents can buy multiple items/ multiple product drops - but we will limit to one per child per round of product. If you are a parent and you haven't bought yet - you will be given priority over those who have purchased product already.
If you do not get an invite to buy within the 3-4 Calendar days, inventory may have been spoken for before getting to your name on the list. Don't despair! Try again next product drop.
This program will likely only include products under 100$ suggested price. (e.g. no booster boxes, no UPCs).
Shipping versus Non Shipping
We will only be offering a single price. It will an 'In-person' price for product. We will hold the product for pickup. If you would like it shipped, we will offer combined shipping for the cost of the shipping label on December 5th (the last pokemon drop of the year). We can hold your product until shipping - and then send an invoice for the shipping cost of the combined items purchased for Christmas. It will be sent December 5th in time for Christmas.
If you plan to be in Halifax (Bedford NS) before Christmas, we do hold product for customer pickups.

How will I know if I'm on the list?
When added to the list, we will confirm. If you haven't received a confirmation, please try again. We will be limiting the list size to 50 parents.
Timeline:
We expect to run this program from October 24th to December 10th, 2025. (People wishing to ship - program will end December 5th, 2025)
